Monarch Residences is a landmark riverfront development in Toowong, bringing together two luxury apartment towers, expansive landscaped gardens and a network of new public connections including a green bridge, riverfront park and restored historic Middenbury House.
Goldi developed an integrated wayfinding system that responds to the architectural and landscape character of the precinct, extending the development’s premium brand into the physical environment while creating intuitive connections between buildings, pathways, entrances and the riverfront.
Throughout the precinct, the wayfinding system responds to how residents and visitors arrive, circulate and navigate the multiple entries, levels and connections across the site.
A clear hierarchy of information supports intuitive wayfinding through architectural and landscape cues, thresholds and landmarks, guiding people from arrival through to their final destination while contributing to a strong sense of place.
As a once in a lifetime development, every detail has been carefully considered, with signage providing a high standard finishing touch, from placement and attention to detail in the design, through to material selection and management of the final installation.
