Croft & Cremorne | Wayfinding & Signage

Croft & Cremorne in South Brisbane consists of two residential towers with a shared podium and restaurants at street level which add to the growing cultural, dining and arts scene of Fish Lane. The development required intuitive and high functioning wayfinding that services both the public and private realms. This was achieved through a refined and sophisticated material palette and minimalist design which complement the established branding and architecture of the development.

Stanford & Oxford, located in Dutton Park, Brisbane is a two building apartment complex by Stockwell Development Group. Goldi created a wayfinding strategy and design of a signage suite for the development. The signage solution incorporates enhanced access standards to meet NDIS building requirements from street entry and carpark through to shared areas. The design outcome is a simple and high functioning signage suite that complements the development’s architectural design aesthetic and established brand.

Palm Beach Aquatic and Community Centre | Wayfinding, Signage and Placemaking Graphics

The Palm Beach Aquatic and Community Centre aims to create an inclusive, multiuse aquatic, health and community centre to service the needs of the community. Goldi is working with the main contractor, architects, other consultants, asset custodians and City of Gold Coast to develop a comprehensive wayfinding and signage program to complement the precinct design and meet the high accessibility requirements.

QUAMPI
QUAMPI | Brand Strategy, Identity,  Wayfinding and Signage

QUAMPI is both a destination and a cultural ambition. It is a way for the Quandamooka people to speak to the world through their artistic excellence.

The QUAMPI Arts and Culture Centre will include exhibition, event and performing spaces, as well as a cafe and gift shop.

 Goldi worked with key stakeholders to develop the brand strategy and identity and integrate the brand into wayfinding signage to complement the architecture. The name and identity reference the culturally significant Quampi– a local pearl shell of oysters and favoured food of Quandamooka people for thousands of years. This connection brings together past, present and future and signifies growth, community, culture, and possibilities.

With Conrad Gargett for Sunshine Coast Health

The $86m Nambour Hospital Refurbishment is aimed to better service the growing health needs of the local community through upgrading existing facilities to create new and contemporary environments. The scope included an audit of existing signage and review of circulation and orientation issues.

Along with a signage program for new areas, a suite of graphic murals with local floral motifs was introduced to provide landmark transition areas in circulation spaces, and as strong visual identification for new department entrances.

With Broad Construction for Honeycombes Property Group

A vibrant mixed-use Transit Orientated Design precinct adjacent Ferny Grove Station including a supermarket, cinema, childcare, gym, retail and apartments.

The development also provides for a large number of commuter carparks to services train and bus patrons. Goldi is working in conjunction with stakeholders to meet all requirements, while delivering a high standard of design and contributing to the vibrancy of this community node.

Kangaroo Point Southern Connection | Interpretive Graphics

Brisbane City Council

The Southern Connection is an underpass under the Story Bridge, providing key ongoing active transport connection associated with the Kangaroo Point Green Bridge.

The project works will reveal elements of the Story Bridge structure that have not previously been publicly accessible, and created an opportunity to support public appreciation of the cultural heritage significance of the Story Bridge through an interpretive design.

 

Goldi was tasked with defining and designingthe interpretive opportunities to engage users with tales of the bridge through a lenticular design, featuring past, present and future people, stories and newsworthy events.
