Shifting Ground brings together the work of twelve contemporary ceramic artists with historical pieces by Tamborine Mountain’s pioneering women potters, all created using clay sourced directly from the Mountain’s volcanic soil.
Curated by Larissa Warren, the exhibition reflects on resilience, connection and place through the shared language of clay.
Goldi developed a visual identity that draws from the geography of Tamborine Mountain itself.
Topographic lines form the foundation of the design, symbolising layers within the earth, artworks and stories of the women artists. This approach roots the exhibition firmly in place while also reflecting the shifts in community and creativity across generations.
Goldi worked closely with the client to design and produce a 44 page catalogue that showcases the exhibition artists and key works, and includes essays by Larissa Warren, Angela Goddard and Dr Louise Mayhew.
Thoughtfully written, illustrated and produced, the catalogue offers deeper insight into the artists, materials and stories grounded in Tamborine Mountain’s volcanic soil.

Alongside the cohesive visual identity and catalogue, Goldi also created an invitation template and digital education resource designed to deepen audience engagement.
All collateral will accompany the tour, creating consistency, flexibility and a strong connection to place, just like the exhibition itself.
